I had a great experience with Metro Taxi recently. I forgot my glasses in the taxi and called their Lost & Found department. The lady on the phone was very kind and managed to track them down, even though I didn't know the taxi number. My glasses were returned within an hour.
I lost my mobile in a Metro Taxi cab, and the driver, Bahadur, was very helpful in recovering it from the Metro Taxi office in Qussais.

The staff on the helpline is unprofessional. No one answers the calls on the Lost and Found line.
I lost my vaping device in a Metro Taxi and called their helpline immediately, but no one picked up after two tries. I took the taxi from Al Nahda near Zulekha Hospital and arrived at Dubai Grand Hotel in about 5-7 minutes, reaching my destination at 21:54 on 22/01/2024.
The cabs lack AC, are old and dirty, and the drivers seem uneducated. AC should be a standard feature.
I’d like to raise a concern about the taxi ride I just took. I understand there was traffic, but I regularly take this route, and it usually costs me 25 AED. To my surprise, this ride cost 42 AED, much higher than usual. Additionally, when I checked the receipt, the Visa number listed wasn’t mine.
